I mentioned in my introductory post that a family of
blue tits have taken residence in a bird house that's fastened to the fence along the side of our house. Well, here are a series of photos I managed to get a few weeks ago, before we could hear any chirping from the house (which we can now). Here's mom or dad - I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell which - first heading into the box (with some nest-building materials) and then exiting.
